Robotics & Coding Teacher

As a Coding, Robotics, and AI Demo Teacher, you will be responsible for conducting coding demonstrations offline for students in grades 1-10. Your role will involve preparing and delivering engaging coding sessions, adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles, and providing guidance and support to students as they explore coding exercises and projects. In addition, you will assess student progress, offer constructive feedback, and stay abreast of the latest trends in coding and technology education. Collaboration with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience, organizing coding events, competitions, and hackathons, and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment are crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, EXTC, IT, or a related field. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++ are necessary. Previous experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in coding or computer science, is preferred. Excellent communication, presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds are essential. Your passion for coding and technology education, coupled with patience and empathy towards learners facing coding challenges, will be valued. You should be adaptable and innovative in addressing student needs and feedback. Familiarity with educational tools and platforms used for teaching coding, such as Pictoblox, Edublocks, and Blockpy, is beneficial. This is a part-time position that requires in-person work. Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.
