Job Description: Road Safety Expert. Required Skill Competencies At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field related to transportation, road engineering, road safety audit or other aspects of road safety. Must have undertaken the Road Safety Audit Certificate Program for Road Safety Auditors conducted by CRRI/NITs/institutes approved by MoRTH, GoI Education Criteria B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering & M.E./M.Tech in Transportation Engineering or equivalent. Role & Responsibilities Developing a range of strategies, schemes, and projects related to road safety, Accident and fatality reduction strategies, Road engineering strategies for the prevention of black spots and vulnerable stretches Developed strategies to enhance adherence to road safety measures, including safety gear usage, lane discipline, VRU safety, and enforcement of compliance with traffic laws. Deploy experts with technical expertise in road safety. Analyse road safety data from relevant agencies or IT portals to identify trends and insights. Develop data-driven strategies to enhance safety outcomes and reduce accidents. Establish and implement a framework for monitoring and evaluating road safety programs. Support the development and delivery of capacity-building initiatives for Government officials and other stakeholders. Conduct periodic evaluations of road safety programs, maintain a progress-tracking dashboard, and provide regular performance updates. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement.
