Expertise in preparing authentic South Indian vegetarian dishes. Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, spices, and flavors of South India. Ability to handle pressure during peak hours. Strong attention to detail and passion for cooking. Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene practices.
The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling all customer transactions accurately and efficiently. They manage cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring excellent customer service. The cashier also supports front-of-house operations by maintaining cleanliness at the counter and assisting with basic customer queries. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers politely and provide excellent service. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and other payment methods securely. Issue receipts, refunds, and bills correctly. Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain records of daily transactions. Ensure the billing counter is clean and organized. Assist customers with menu-related queries and order details if required. Coordinate with waiters/kitchen staff regarding orders and payments. Follow all company policies regarding cash handling and security. Requirements: Prior experience as a cashier (preferably in a restaurant or retail). Basic knowledge of billing software/POS systems. Strong numerical and communication skills. Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately. Good customer service and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Minimum qualification: graduate pass (higher preferred). Work Environment: Fast-paced restaurant setting.
