Risk Technology Architect

In this role as an AVP level Architecture Developer within the Commodities Technology Front Office Risk team, you will be responsible for interfacing directly with traders and quants to gather and define business requirements. Your expertise in applications programming will be crucial to ensure that application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint. It is essential to adhere to and continuously improve processes and software development life cycle (SDLC) in a fast-paced environment. Your contribution to the re-engineering, development, and enhancement of risk management tools will be vital. You will need to utilize your advanced knowledge of system flow to establish coding standards and contribute to various aspects of the business, including architecture and infrastructure, to achieve business objectives. Providing in-depth analysis and innovative solutions for defined issues will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Interface directly with traders and quants to gather and define business requirements - Ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint - Adhere to and continuously improve processes and software development life cycle (SDLC) - Contribute to the re-engineering, development, and enhancement of risk management tools - Establish coding standards based on advanced knowledge of system flow - Provide in-depth analysis and innovative solutions for defined issues Qualifications Required: - Expert skills in building Distributed Systems - Extensive experience in designing and architecting Risk systems, preferably in .NET - Ability to adjust priorities quickly based on circumstances - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of Risk Systems, especially in Front Office or downstream, preferably in Commodities - Good understanding of Quant models and prior experience with Microsoft Orleans is a bonus As an AVP level Architecture Developer within the Commodities Technology Front Office Risk team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with trading, quants, and sales teams in an agile manner.
