Risk Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Risk Data Analyst at MicroSourcing, you will be responsible for fraud and AML analytics, statistical analysis and insights, as well as data management and integrity. You will use SQL and Python to query large datasets, identify trends related to fraudulent behavior, and develop visualizations to track key risk indicators. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics and maintain data pipelines for risk and compliance analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct fraud & AML analytics using SQL and Python to identify trends and patterns related to fraudulent behavior - Investigate complex fraud patterns, translate findings into actionable rules, and develop preventive measures - Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate risk findings to stakeholders - Apply statistical methods to generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for risk strategies - Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate risk rules and product changes - Collaborate with teams to define metrics and build frameworks for measuring risk - Design and maintain data pipelines to support risk and compliance analytics - Ensure data accuracy and reliability in risk-related reporting and analysis Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in a Data Analytics role focusing on fraud risk, AML, or transaction monitoring - Proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing performance - Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis - Experience with data visualization tools such as Sisense, Databricks, or Mode - Strong foundation in statistics and ability to apply statistical concepts to business problems - Understanding of fraud typologies, AML regulations, and transaction monitoring principles - Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and tools for building analytical datasets - Cloud experience in AWS is advantageous *Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
