As a 3D Rigger specializing in Animal & Character Rigging with expertise in Blender, you will play a crucial role in our team by creating high-quality rigs and control systems that bring characters and creatures to life. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating high-quality, production-ready rigs for animals and humanoid characters. - Developing intuitive and animator-friendly control systems. - Troubleshooting deformation and rigging issues efficiently. - Collaborating with modelers and animators to ensure rigs meet performance needs. - Maintaining a clean, organized rigging pipeline in Blender. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Proven experience in rigging for Blender. - Strong understanding of weight painting, constraints, drivers, and shape keys. - Experience with quadruped and complex anatomy rigs. - Ability to optimize rigs for animation and export. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - A solid portfolio or demo reel showcasing rigging work is required. Additionally, it would be nice to have familiarity with scripting (Python) for rig automation, understanding of Blender's geometry nodes or deformation systems, and prior experience in a VFX or game pipeline.
