Detailed duties and responsibilities: Operational 1. Assist in basic patient history taking and noting patient/donor history in Medicseasy 2. Counsel the patients and the accompanying family members about the benefits and risks of IVF (IVF or any other investigation / procedure / treatment as advised by the gynecologist/consultant) transparently to enable the conversion of appropriate cases 3. Provide with details to the patients and the accompanying family member about the formalities & procedures that will be followed in cases of successful as well as failed cases of failure. 4. Financial counseling to the patients for packages and treatment advised to the patients 5. Coordinate and assist in matching the donor and recipient cycle 6. Counseling patients preferring surrogacy and financial counseling 7. Maintain data/records of IVF patients whenever suggested by the consultant e.g. Maintaining IUI/ICSI pregnancies in Medicseasy, Live Birth registry, 8. Monitor the reporting and monitoring mechanisms with respect to the quality at Center and as per the clinical bench marks defined by NIF 9. To listen and solve the feedback, complaints of the patients in coordination with operations departments 10. Champion adoption of SIVIS at the center and input all the required clinical data in SIVIS 11. Keep track of the patients’ progress and keep the referring OB-GYN Specialists informed at periodic intervals. 12. Assist Operation and Sales & Marketing team in designing patient education, awareness programs and organize CME programs to Sales Executives and Practicing Doctors 13. As a Receptionist at the Center, you will be responsible for greeting patients and customers in a courteous manner, providing necessary instructions, and informing staff of patient arrivals. · Welcoming and greeting the patient at Nova · Introducing self as the patient nurse · Understanding the patients purpose of visiting the floor · Give admission to the patient as per her requirement · To escort patient to her room/ward · After the patient reaches her room or ward, the nurse will have to orient her about: · What to expect during her stay in the hospital today · Orientation on the same floor facilities and hospital services · What to do in case of any query · Assist Consultants, Gynecologists, Physicians and Medical Officers during their rounds in the hospital · On admission measure and note temperature, pulse, BP and other vitals of the patient and inform the Medical officer/Assistant Gynecologist · Assist the technician for ECG · Give injections, start pint etc.. as per order of the consultant · Carefully shift the patient to the OT as per planned time. · Shift the patient back to her room/ward and again follow the order of consultant · Explain patient relative all relevant information before and after the procedure/surgery. If the anxiety level of the patient is high, the nurse can inform the medical officer and if the need be can also inform Gynecologist. · Taking rounds of the patient at regular interval and fill up vitals of the patients as per nursing sheet. · Explain the patients relative to visit the drug store and pay for the drugs used in the OT · Perform the following activities before discharge: · Give medicines, operation CD, reports and discharge card if applicable to the patient · Remove VIGO/Urine bag etc. as per nursing protocol · Check all the vitals like, Nausea, Vomiting, fever, BP etc. of the patient · Check the payment status of the patient · Wave a happy and get well soon goodbye to the patient and assure them that they will be fine soon and incase of any query they can always contact Dr. Mira Dave · Maintain drug stock everyday and check the expiry of the drug every 3 months · Give trigger injections to OPU patients 2 days before the OPU procedure · To prepare dressing tray and send it for autoclave.
