RF Design Scientist

As an RF Design Scientist at Devic Earth, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and validating next-generation air pollution and carbon capture products using novel RF systems. This unique opportunity will allow you to publish research, obtain patents, and collaborate with a team of experienced scientists and engineers in an industry setting. Key Responsibilities: - Design, simulate, and prototype mmWave systems, phased arrays, and other RF components - Perform complex EM/circuit simulations using tools like Ansys HFSS - Fabricate and test GaN/Si RFICs, antennas, and filters using network/signal analyzers and wafer probers - Research, innovate, and publish papers on new RF architectures to enhance product performance - Select optimal RF components and materials to maximize system efficiency - Ensure RF systems comply with regulatory and design specifications - Occasionally travel to vendors/partners for design reviews, evaluations, and knowledge sharing - Occasionally visit customer sites for on-site RF analysis of equipment - Mentor and guide junior engineers on RF fundamentals, modeling, layout, measurements, and documentation Qualifications: - MTech or PhD in ECE or a related field - Experience with hardware for the WiFi spectrum At Devic Earth, we are a climate tech company dedicated to providing advanced clean air technologies for cities and heavy industries, with a mission to save 1 million lives annually from the impacts of air pollution.
