Role & responsibilities - The Client Account Advisor will provide day-to-day management for clients who ship orders to major retailers requiring EDI (electronic data interchange), boutique and e-commerce consumers. The position reports to the Manager of Client Services. Other duties include: Cultivating client relationship with day-to-day contacts. Providing ongoing client/relationship management support by participating in quarterly business reviews. Empowering clients on self-service and best practices via training and documentation. Handling all aspects of relationships with our client and their customers, including responding to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner. Liaisoning with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met. Monitoring daily orders carefully to help ensure service is made. Coordinating with warehouse teams regarding servicing client accounts & order fulfillment processes. Updating routing requirement documentation & dedicated processes for each customer Managing inventory control and order fulfillment computer systems, error processing/reporting/remediation, daily reporting Researching and communicating transportation options and costs to clients Providing client requested reporting Investigating potential chargebacks Reporting customer returns, returns to vendors, etc. Other administrative functions as needed . Preferred candidate profile: Hands-on computer knowledge, excellent verbal/written English communication skills. Great attention to detail and excellent time management. Additional requirements: Computer experience and strong MS Excel skills is a must, as candidate will work directly with both front-end and back-end computer systems.
