As a key member of our IT support team, the Salesforce Developer - Commercial Applications will play a crucial role in rolling out and supporting Warranty, Dealer Portals and other CRM solutions for our REV sites. This position will be a key team member in the rollout of strategic and tactical projects on Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience cloud platforms across all business units of REV. This position will be actively involved in the full cycle of the project and participate in the business process design, system setup, testing, user training, and ongoing support. This is an offshore position located in Bangalore, India. Work in shifts with an overlap of a few hours with the US Eastern time zone from our Bangalore, India office, to provide coverage and transition with IT team members in the US. Occasionally travel to the US to support our various REV sites (Ocala, FL, Decatur, IN). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Development of CRM, Warranty and Salesforce solutions: Understand and Manage CRM needs for Commercial Apps: Deep understanding of Salesforce Objects, workflows, and processes in Sales, Service, Partner community, and Automotive cloud. Become a key subject matter expert on Rev business solutions. Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design/configure Salesforce platform solutions. Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new functionality while establishing knowledge transfer and support structures. Product Configuration and Support: Manage tickets and support products, troubleshoot issues, and work with end users. Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to translate business and product requirements into CRM tools, reflecting best practices and minimal customizations. Maintain applications and procedures to ensure data security and efficient resource utilization. Perform schedules SOX audit tasks to meet company guidelines. Project Management and Implementation: Collaborate with business users and vendors to execute projects. Ensure successful project upgrades within specified timeframes and budgets while meeting business needs. Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design/configure Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with vendors to implement new functionality while establishing knowledge transfer and support structures. Testing and Troubleshooting: Assist users and vendors during testing, conversion, and implementation phases. Analyze problems and troubleshoot solutions as needed. Documentation and Training: Create documentation for tool setup and standard operating procedures. Train selected support team members so they can manage the tool independently, so the tool can be sustainable. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Service Cloud solutions tailored for manufacturing workflows. Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components . Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools. Optimize case management, knowledge base, and service automation within Service Cloud. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer support and field service operations . Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices in Salesforce development. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce integrations. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to implement and lead the solution design for automating the configuration of specialty vehicles by developing configuration models and rules, product extensions, initial design of interfaces, etc. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development with a focus on Service Cloud . Working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud is a must Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) . Experience with Manufacturing Cloud and industry-specific Salesforce solutions. Proficiency in API development, integrations, and middleware tools . Knowledge of Omni-Channel, CTI integrations, and automation tools . Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification preferred. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Technical skills including application development, application server, and database knowledge. Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Basic programming skills to pull data out of the system, SQL, HTML. Microsoft .net , Java is a PLUS. General knowledge of networks, PC operating systems, network hardware, protocols, and standards Education and/or Experience: Engineering or Computer Science Degree. 3-7 years of experience working in a complex manufacturing business. Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud. Able to write SQL queries to pull data out of the system. Technical skills that involve the development of a BOM (bill of materials application development) with acute attention to detail. Experience with software development lifecycle, AzureDevOps experience, a plus. Physical Demands: Must be able to communicate telephonically and electronically with team members and customers. Must be able to hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce. Must be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including the ability to travel by air/auto to remote sites. Must be able to work in front of a personal computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Work Environment/Conditions: Comfortable travelling to business sites and working with teams to complete implementations. Work in shifts with an overlap couple of hours with the US time zone from our Bangalore, India office to provide coverage and transition with IT team members in the USA. The majority of the work is conducted in an office setup connecting on the network to manage/administer the applications. This position may involve working in our manufacturing plants when managing IT technologies that support our manufacturing operations. Job Summary: REVITUP seeks a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Harness Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role focuses on the design, development, and documentation of complex electrical wiring harnesses and related systems specifically for fire trucks, ambulances, and other specialty automotive vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle electrical architecture, harness design principles, component selection, manufacturability, and the demanding requirements of emergency service applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the electrical integrity, reliability, and compliance of our life-saving vehicles. Key Responsibilities: 1. Harness Design & Development: Design, develop, and detail vehicle wiring harnesses from concept through production release using ECAD software (e.g., Zuken E3, AutoCAD Electrical, etc. Create accurate 2D harness drawings, including formboard layouts, connection tables, BOMs, and assembly instructions. Perform 3D harness routing and packaging within vehicle CAD models (e.g., SolidWorks Routing, ensuring proper clearance, protection, and retention. Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics and system diagrams. 2. Component Selection & Specification: Select appropriate electrical components (connectors, terminals, wire, relays, fuses, circuit protection devices, conduit, shielding, etc.) based on electrical load calculations, environmental conditions, cost targets, and industry standards (SAE, NFPA, KKK, etc.). Interface with suppliers to evaluate new technologies and ensure component availability and quality. 3. System Integration: Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, and software engineers to integrate electrical harnesses with vehicle structures, powertrain, chassis systems, multiplex systems (e.g., CAN J1939), communication equipment, lighting, sirens, HVAC, and specialized emergency/medical equipment. Design power distribution strategies, including fusing, circuit breakers, and power management modules. 4. Standards Compliance & Validation: Ensure designs meet all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications, particularly NFPA 1901/1917 (Fire Apparatus), KKK-A-1822 (Ambulances), FMVSS, and SAE standards. Support the development of Design Verification Plans (DVP&R) and participate in design reviews (DFMEA). Assist prototype and production teams with harness installation, troubleshooting, and validation activities. 5. Documentation & Manufacturing Support: Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Manage engineering changes through the ECN/ECO process. Provide technical support to manufacturing, procurement, and service departments regarding harness assembly, installation, and field issues. Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Serviceability (DFS) principles. 6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement related to electrical harnesses and systems. Stay current with emerging technologies, materials, and best practices in automotive and emergency vehicle electrical design. Required Qualifications: B.E in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a closely related technical field. Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in electrical wiring harness design for automotive, heavy truck, off-highway, or specialty vehicles. Proficiency with at least one major ECAD software package for schematic capture and harness design (e.g., Zuken E3 (strongly preferred), AutoCAD Electrical). Proficiency with at least one major 3D CAD software package for harness routing (e.g., SolidWorks). Solid understanding of vehicle electrical systems, power distribution, circuit protection, and grounding principles. Knowledge of wire harness manufacturing processes and best practices. Familiarity with relevant automotive/vehicle standards (SAE required). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications: Direct design experience with Fire Trucks and/or Ambulances is highly desirable but does not essential. In-depth knowledge of NFPA and KKK standards related to vehicle electrical systems. Experience with vehicle multiplexing systems (CAN bus, J1939 protocols) and diagnostic tools (e.g., CANalyzer, P-CAN). Experience with high-voltage harness design considerations (relevant for EV/hybrid trends). Familiarity with harness testing procedures and equipment. Experience with PLM/PDM systems for data management. Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) principles and mitigation techniques. Work Environment: Primarily an office-based role using standard office equipment. Occasional work may occur in a manufacturing or shop environment, potentially requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and exposure to moderate noise levels, vehicle components, and shop tools.
