Revit Electrical Designer

As a part of Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, you will be working with a diverse team of approximately 32,000 employees across 6 continents. Your role will involve collaborating with a Senior Engineer / Lead Designer, producing mechanical and plumbing drawings using Revit software for critical facilities projects. You will also be responsible for coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs through a BIM 360 process, as well as ensuring that drawings are checked, approved, and filed according to company quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Work under the oversight of a Senior Engineer / Lead Designer - Produce mechanical and plumbing drawings and specifications using Revit software - Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs through a BIM 360 process - Ensure drawings are checked, approved, and filed in accordance with company quality system Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - 2 to 5 years of experience in Revit drafting and design within the Consulting / Architectural-Engineering Environment - Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit 2018-2020 - Proficiency in Revit including Clash Detection/Resolution - Exposure to Building Systems Design: Equipment, Ductwork, Piping, Fire Protection, etc. (for Mechanical) / Lighting, Power Distribution, Fire Alarm, etc. (for Electrical) - Ability to Draft Mechanical and Electrical Building Systems - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications - Proficiency in Spoken and Written English language - Ability to be detailed oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast-paced deadlines - Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment - Ability to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines In this role based in Visakhapatnam, India, you will be working as a Regular Non-manager at Stantec IN Business Unit.
