Revit Electrical Designer

As a Mechanical and Plumbing Drafter at Stantec, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer/Lead Designer to produce drawings and specifications for multiple critical facilities projects using Revit software. Your responsibilities will include coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs through a BIM 360 process, ensuring drawings are checked, approved, and filed according to company quality standards. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and have 2 to 5 years of experience in Revit drafting and design in the Consulting/Architectural-Engineering Environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit 2018-2020 is required, along with expertise in Revit, including Clash Detection/Resolution. Exposure to Building Systems Design for Mechanical (Equipment, Ductwork, Piping, Fire Protection, etc.) or Electrical (Lighting, Power Distribution, Fire Alarm, etc.) is essential. In addition to technical skills, you should possess non-technical attributes standard for our India Operations, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, and demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English. Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow complex instructions, and meet deadlines are crucial. You should also be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting and be willing to work overtime as needed to meet client requirements. This position is based in India, specifically in Visakhapatnam, and falls under the Stantec IN Business Unit. It is a regular, non-managerial role with no travel required.
