Job Description

As an RO Plant Operator, your role will involve the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant to ensure a continuous supply of treated water meeting quality standards. This includes conducting routine checks, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor RO plant systems, including pre-treatment units, RO membranes, pumps, and filtration systems. - Conduct routine inspections and record operational parameters such as pressure, flow rate, pH, TDS, and conductivity. - Perform backwashing, chemical dosing, and regeneration of filters following standard operating procedures. - Monitor water quality to ensure treated water meets required standards. - Identify and troubleshoot operational issues and equipment malfunctions. - Carry out routine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs. - Maintain daily logbooks and operational records. - Handle chemicals safely and follow safety procedures. - Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and company regulations. - Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area. Qualifications: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field preferred. - Experience in operating RO or water treatment plants preferred. - Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment. - Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. - Willingness to work in shifts. In this role, you will work in an industrial/commercial water treatment facility on a shift-based schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be exposed to chemicals, machinery, and noise.
