Revenue Accountant - Managed Services

Role Overview: You will be part of the Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership team in Finance at Hitachi Vantara, where you will be responsible for end-to-end revenue processing, cost, and balance sheet accounting. Your main tasks will include ensuring transaction completeness and correctness, performing manual JV and balance sheet reconciliations, participating in month-end close activities, collaborating with auditors, and engaging in OTC projects. You will also provide support for FP&A or business queries related to revenue using various systems like SalesForce CRM, Oracle ERP, Zuora RevPro revenue system, and the Kimble PSA system. Additionally, you will collaborate with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to establish consistent best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end revenue processing, cost, and balance sheet accounting - Ensure completeness and correctness of transactions - Review and approve manual JV and balance sheet reconciliations - Participate in month-end close activities - Collaborate with internal and external auditors - Support OTC projects and FP&A or business queries related to revenue - Utilize SalesForce CRM, Oracle ERP, Zuora RevPro revenue system, and the Kimble PSA system Qualifications Required: - Accounting knowledge and familiarity with IFRS15, IFRS16, or ASC606 - Proficiency in using cloud-based applications common in the industry - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industry-related field - Professional degree such as BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics; CPA/CMA/MBA or equivalent is a plus Company Details (if applicable): Hitachi Vantara is a global company known for its data foundation trusted by innovators worldwide.
