Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Curtain Advisor to join a premium home décor business in Andheri, Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, showroom sales, premium product sales, or customer-facing sales. The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable home décor products, providing personalised product consultations, and converting customer interactions into sales.

Candidates with experience in furniture retail, home furnishings, interior solutions, luxury retail, or lifestyle retail are encouraged to apply.

Important: Previous face-to-face, in-person sales experience is mandatory. Candidates with only tele-sales, telecalling, or inside sales experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide personalised showroom consultations.
• Understand customer preferences, lifestyle requirements, budgets, and design expectations.
• Recommend suitable curtains, blinds, fabrics, colours, textures, and other soft furnishings.
• Explain product features, materials, designs, and available options to customers.
• Drive retail sales by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
• Handle customer queries, resolve objections, negotiate where appropriate, and close sales.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate site measurements, quotations, order specifications, and installation requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfilment.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to support conversions and customer satisfaction.
• Work towards sales targets and contribute to showroom performance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience.
• Mandatory experience in face-to-face, in-person selling.
• Previous retail sales or showroom sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in home décor, furniture, furnishings, interior solutions, lifestyle retail, or premium retail will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Good consultative selling, product pitching, objection-handling, and sales-closing skills.
• Confidence in interacting with premium and high-value customers.
• A professional approach, customer-oriented mindset, and willingness to work towards sales targets.

Not eligible: Candidates whose experience is limited to telecalling, tele-sales, or inside sales without face-to-face selling experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual CTC: ₹5–6 LPA.
