Retail Risk Systems Analyst

As a Decisions Systems Analyst within the ANZx Retail Risk squad, your primary responsibility will be to support the development and configuration of the cloud-based Credit Engine. You will play a key role in conducting business analysis of decision solutions, designing and configuring in the credit engine, coordinating progression and regression testing, and participating in the end-to-end release train. Your day-to-day activities will involve recognizing and appreciating the diverse perspectives and skills your colleagues bring, understanding customer needs, managing ambiguity and change effectively, maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement, challenging the status quo, and advocating continuous improvement passionately. Additionally, you will be expected to tackle complex problems using critical thinking and available data to drive better outcomes for customers and the bank, all while building sustainable solutions. To excel in this role, you should possess strong analytical, numerical, research, and problem-solving skills. Experience with data analytics, decision systems techniques and tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python, PowerCurve, Big Query), risk management, technology, credit, and data lifecycle is highly beneficial. Effective communication, collaboration with both business and technical teams, adaptability to dynamic agile environments, and a growth mindset are also essential qualities for success in this position.
