Retail Operations Assistant

Job Description: You are being hired as a Retail Operations Assistant at anantam Womens Multi-Designer Wear Fashion Store in Gurgaon. Your primary responsibility will be to support daily store operations by managing stock, barcoding, steaming/ironing garments, and assisting Fashion Consultants (FCs) and customers in trial rooms. Your role requires you to be organized, well-groomed, and customer-oriented. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise in the stockroom. - Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and ensure they meet quality standards. - Count, verify, and record the quantities of items in stock. - Accurately apply barcodes and ensure proper labeling of all products. - Organize products on shelves, manage goods flow, and maintain availability. - Steam/Iron garments to ensure they are neat and presentable. - Refill shelves and maintain stock levels throughout the store. - Keep the stockroom and display areas clean and well-organized. - Assist FCs in locating and replenishing stock. - Support customers in trial rooms by providing different sizes or styles. - Participate in inventory checks and stock audits. - Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to the Supervisor/Manager. Qualifications Required: - Graduate qualification is preferred. - 6 months to 3 years of experience in retail or stock handling. - Familiarity with barcoding systems and basic garment care. - Comfortable using ironing equipment (steam or dry). - Physically fit and able to handle movement/lifting of stock. - Good communication skills with a customer-friendly approach. - Punctual, dependable, and a good team player. Additional Company Details: anantam is a Women's Multi-Designer Wear Fashion Store located in Gurgaon. The working hours for this position are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, six days a week. The salary range offered is between 18,000 to 22,000 per month. This is a permanent job type with Provident Fund benefits provided. The start date for this position is immediate.,
