Retail Buying Manager- Menswear

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the buying operations for menswear category in an apparel retail brand. Your main focus will be on planning the product range, analyzing sales data, working with suppliers, and maximizing sales opportunities. Additionally, you will be involved in developing local products, managing the catalogue plan, and optimizing the range production plan. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate a detailed plan for the products to be offered each quarter. - Present the range to sign off the BU plan with Buying and Merchandising Head. - Book quantities of products to meet launch timelines and respond to in-season variables. - Generate analysis to support buying decisions. - React to sales information and collaborate with suppliers to revise production flows. - Agree and review targets for sales, margin, stock, commitment, and availability. - Assist in operating plan review and lessons learned. - Complete catalogue intentions and IRP. - Manage the plans for all markdown periods. - Agree on the range production plan with the manager and monitor with suppliers. - Work with suppliers for prompt input of flows to ensure alignment between production and commitment. - Develop shorter lead-time products in-season. - Develop value fashion for tier 2 markets. - Collaborate with VM and Marketing to deliver and highlight the look. - Maximize product opportunity during peak selling periods. - Plan, optimize, and review the catalogue by shape of the chain. - Implement and exploit new systems and processes. Qualifications Required: - Any Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion Management. - Technical skills in OTB Planning, Sell Thru, and Range Planning.
