Restaurant waiter / F&B Associate

Role Overview: As a Restaurant Server, your role involves attending briefings prior to the restaurant opening, being well-groomed, and equipped with the basic aids of operations. You will be responsible for learning the du jour items, not-available items, menu preparations, and their presentation. Key Responsibilities: - Completing mise en scne and mise-en-place before the restaurant opens - Checking all the equipment and furniture at the station for their serviceability and maintenance requirements - Cleaning and polishing allotted silverware, cutlery, glassware, and chinaware - Stocking the sideboard with proprietary sauces, jams, salt and pepper shakers, butter dishes, linen, and other service ware - Laying table covers as per standards set - Folding napkins as per prescribed attractive styles - Requisitioning fresh linen and flowers from housekeeping - Ensuring the station is clean and well-aired - Receiving, greeting, and seating guests - Serving food and beverage according to the restaurant's standards - Upselling food and beverages - Supervising Assistant Waiters and Trainees Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role preferred - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods - Knowledge of food and beverage operations is a plus (Note: The additional details of the company were not included in the job description provided),
