GN has been the fastest growing company since 2012 growing revenues @ 24% CAGR. GN is a clear No 2 now in the lucrative retail market with a 16% market share, up from 5% market share in 2011. GN is the most profitable company in the industry with the highest % EBITA margin. Leadership in technology, a clear India strategy and strong execution have been the drivers of this performance. GN operates through a direct dealer network of about 400 customers. The larger key customers account for a disproportionate share of the industry potential and consequently GNs business. Hearing aids are dispensed as a medical device and the dealer (dispenser) makes the brand choice. Among other things, top to top relationship with these customers is important to succeed with them.
