Resident Engineer

Location:

Barnala (Punjab)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers through phone, email, or chat
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other peripherals. Provide on-site technical support for the same
• Ensures smooth functioning of LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and connectivity infrastructure
• Performs routine system checks, backups, patching, and preventive maintenance activities
• Manages asset tracking, inventory, and documentation of IT equipment at site
• Configure Outlook email clients for users
• Assist in execution of infrastructure upgrades, rollouts, and technology migrations
• Support end-user onboarding/offboarding, system provisioning, and access rights
• Maintain and ensure adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and data protection standards

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 1-5 years of experience in a similar role with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, antivirus platforms, and remote support tools
• BCA degree from a recognized university with knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Proficiency in English language with good written and verbal communication skills
