Job Title: Lead Reservoir Engineer Experience: 1015 years Locaon: Navi Mumbai Job Descripon: We are looking for experienced Lead Reservoir Engineer to lead simula¢on and reservoir modeling ac¢vi¢es. The ideal candidate will have strong exper¢se in composi¢onal modeling, preferably with hands-on experience in CO sequestra¢on projects. At a minimum, black oil simula¢on experience is required. Key Responsibili¢es: ¢ ¢ Lead dynamic reservoir simula¢on studies using composi¢onal and black oil models. Perform reservoir modeling for CO injec¢on and storage, including containment and migra¢on analysis. ¢ ¢ Integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and produc¢on data for building robust reservoir models. Analyze reservoir performance and recommend op¢miza¢on and eld development strategies. ¢ ¢ Support project planning, techno-economic evalua¢ons, and regulatory submissions. Collaborate with cross-func¢onal teams including geosciences, drilling, and produc¢on. ¢ Prepare technical reports, simula¢ons results, and presenta¢ons for internal and external stakeholders. Qualica¢ons & Skills: Must have Bachelors/Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline. Must have 10 to 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering, including simula¢on and modeling. Proven experience in composi¢onal modeling (CO sequestra¢on preferred). Prociency in simula¢on so¢ware such as Eclipse, CMG-GEM, or equivalent. Solid understanding of uid ow in porous media, reservoir behavior, and EOR processes. Strong analy¢cal, technical wri¢ng, and communica¢on skills.

The role involves various responsibilities in the field of Production Analysis, Reservoir Engineering Analysis, Technical Assurance and Subsurface Risk Assessment, and Reservoir Surveillance. In Production Analysis, you will be responsible for analyzing well-wise production performance, utilizing simulation software for in-depth studies, conducting nodal analysis studies, identifying potential production issues, and conducting decline analysis and simulation studies to manage production operations effectively. For Reservoir Engineering Analysis, your duties will include reserves estimation and reporting, interpreting well tests, analyzing reservoir performance, preparing EOS Model using specific software, providing support to subsurface studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, dynamic reservoir modeling, and integrated asset modeling. You will also be involved in Technical Assurance and Subsurface Risk Assessment by reviewing technical studies, validating reservoir modeling inputs, identifying data gaps, quantifying subsurface risks, and recommending risk controls and mitigation measures. Reservoir Surveillance tasks will include planning and supporting reservoir data acquisition, monitoring operations at offshore rigs and onshore sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and mentoring reservoir engineers. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of Reservoir Engineering principles, operational experience in various testing and analysis techniques, familiarity with reservoir simulation and analysis software, and understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering with 12-16 years of experience in reservoir engineering and field development, including specific experience in reservoir simulation and data acquisition.
