Role Overview: As a Researcher for a large-scale political campaign in Punjab, your role will involve conducting fieldwork, implementing surveys and interviews, analyzing voter sentiment, and providing insights to shape campaign strategies. You should be detail-oriented, driven, and have hands-on research experience. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups with voters in Punjab in conversational Punjabi. - Assist in recruiting, training, and coordinating local field investigators and enumerators. - Administer research instruments and support execution of qualitative and quantitative studies. - Organize and clean data collected from fieldwork, conduct basic analysis, and identify key insights. - Prepare clear summaries of findings, assist in drafting reports and presentations, and track media and political updates for ongoing research. Qualification Required: - 3+ years of experience in political/social research, polling, or related fields. - Fluency in conversational Punjabi, proficiency in Hindi and English. - Familiarity with Punjabi cultural and political nuances, voter behavior, and regional issues. - Strong research skills with hands-on experience in surveys, interviews, and focus groups. - Analytical ability to organize data, identify patterns, and derive insights. - Good understanding of Punjab's social and political environment. - Ability to manage multiple field tasks and deliver under tight timelines with integrity and confidentiality.
