Research Scientist RDIT Modelling (Biotechnology)

You will play a crucial role in RDIT by actively embodying the values and philosophy of the organization. Your contribution to the success of the team will involve driving innovation, ensuring the security of intellectual property, and keeping up-to-date with scientific advancements in computational methodologies and bioinformatics tools. Additionally, you will support the Team Leader by setting targets and presenting strategic findings to project teams and management. - Collaborate with research project stakeholders to meet and exceed targets within specified timeframes - Utilize computational tools for enzyme engineering, enzyme discovery, genomics, transcriptomic analysis, protein modeling, and simulations - Automate processes using programming and scripting skills such as R, Perl, Bash, Python, JAVA, and mySQL - Stay updated with industry developments, learn new tools and technologies, and launch new programs and initiatives - Share important industry developments with key stakeholders and maintain documentation of research results - Participate actively in technical and functional meetings, foster knowledge sharing within the team, and maintain healthy working relationships with related teams and departments in PI R&D - PhD in bioinformatics/computational biology or related field with a background in biology, chemistry, physics, or informatics from a reputed University/Institute - Excellent academic credentials with 3-10 years of experience in the field,
