Research Scientist Motion Planning

As a Motion Planning Research Scientist at Swaayatt Robots, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and developing innovative motion planning and decision-making algorithmic frameworks to tackle complex and stochastic traffic scenarios, with the ultimate goal of achieving level-5 autonomy. You will be involved in projects that require a deep understanding of multidisciplinary theoretical concepts, including traditional motion planning, reinforcement learning (RL), and stochastic processes, as well as topology theory and manifold theory. To excel in this role, you should possess an M Tech/MS/PhD in EECS/CS/Robotics/Aero-Astro/Mechanical Engineering or have equivalent research experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, along with the ability to write clean and efficient code, is essential. You are expected to have a thorough knowledge of motion planning and path tracking literature dating back to 1995. Additionally, a strong background in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: machine learning, vehicle dynamics and controls, mathematical optimization (convex/non-convex/numerical), reinforcement learning, or heuristic search.
