Job Description

The Motion Planning Engineer at Swaayatt Robots will have the primary responsibility of implementing state-of-the-art or proprietary algorithms for various applications, specifically in the domain of autonomous driving. Additionally, the engineer will be involved in the development of novel motion planning algorithms and navigational algorithmic frameworks, which includes the creation of decision-making algorithmic pipelines for autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of motion planning literature from 1995 to the present day, with practical experience in multiple motion planning paradigms such as potential field methods, graph-based methods, sampling-based methods, local path-set methods, HJB formulation based methods, MPC based methods, and various other controls and heuristic based planning algorithms. Moreover, proficiency in path tracking algorithms, controllers, and mathematical knowledge of dynamics and kinematics of standard robotic/vehicle models are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Implement existing motion planning algorithms and replicate research paper results - Develop motion planning software in C/C++ for deployment in autonomous vehicles - Create simulation environments to assess the capabilities of motion planning and decision-making algorithmic frameworks - Contribute to the development of intelligent vehicle controllers using RL - Collaborate on the development of innovative motion planning algorithmic frameworks, typically utilizing RL Requirements: - Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics - Proficiency in C/C++ and Python - In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms - Ability to comprehend and implement complex mathematical concepts in existing motion planning algorithms Bonus Qualifications: - Proficiency in Machine Learning - Familiarity with convex optimization, including non-differential convex optimization - Extensive expertise in reinforcement learning - CUDA proficiency - Theoretical understanding of vehicle dynamics, numerical integration for FID, and tire models - Track record of publishing papers in Tier-1 conferences in robotics or machine learning If you meet the above requirements and are enthusiastic about contributing to cutting-edge projects in the field of autonomous driving, we encourage you to send your resume to career@swaayatt.com.,
