The Motion Planning Engineer at Swaayatt Robots will have the primary responsibility of implementing state-of-the-art or proprietary algorithms for various applications, specifically in the domain of autonomous driving. Additionally, the engineer will be involved in the development of novel motion planning algorithms and navigational algorithmic frameworks, which includes the creation of decision-making algorithmic pipelines for autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of motion planning literature from 1995 to the present day, with practical experience in multiple motion planning paradigms such as potential field methods, graph-based methods, sampling-based methods, local path-set methods, HJB formulation based methods, MPC based methods, and various other controls and heuristic based planning algorithms. Moreover, proficiency in path tracking algorithms, controllers, and mathematical knowledge of dynamics and kinematics of standard robotic/vehicle models are essential for this role.
