Research Scientist Discovery Chemistry

Role Overview: As a Research Scientist in Chemistry at CreAgro, you will be responsible for conducting scientific experiments, analyzing results, and contributing to the discovery and pre-development of innovative molecules for crop protection and growth. Your role is crucial in adding significant value to the business of PI Industries. Key Responsibilities: - Actively embrace the values and philosophy of PI Industries. - Contribute efficiently to the success of CreAgro Chemistry by driving innovation and team performance towards set objectives. - Fulfill requirements within specific research projects as directed by the Group Leader and Team Leader. - Ensure the security of intellectual property for CreAgro through patent applications and ensuring freedom-to-operate. - Stay updated with chemistry knowledge through literature scanning to enhance innovation. - Support the Team Leader with target setting and seek functional feedback consistently. - Collaborate with the team to achieve and surpass targets set by the Group Leader and Team Leader. - Document and report all research results within your area of responsibility continuously. - Conduct literature searches using available tools like Reaxis, Scifinder, and Patents. - Safely and efficiently conduct synthetic experiments, capturing all procedures and data effectively. - Provide regular updates on project progress/issues and seek support from the Team Leader. - Actively participate in all technical and functional meetings of the Team. - Take responsibility for individual safety. Qualification Required: - Hold an MSc/PhD in Organic or Analytical Chemistry from a reputed University or Institute in India or overseas with excellent academic credentials. - Preferably have post-doctoral research experience in a renowned university. - Possess 1-7 years of industry experience as a good experimentalist. - Have experience working in discovery, process, or development chemistry.
