Job Description

You will be appointed as a Research Fellow/Senior Research Assistant for a four-month duration, either full time or part time, to work within a research team. Your main responsibility will be to conduct a mixed methods evaluation of the Supporting Long Covid Care (SLCC) Webtool available at https://long-covid-care.org.uk/. The purpose of the SLCC tool is to provide support to individuals with Long Covid, helping them receive the necessary care and recognition while addressing the stigma associated with the condition. This involves facilitating conversations with healthcare professionals, friends, family, and other support systems. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the evaluation - Conduct, analyze, and report on qualitative interviews and an online survey under the supervision of the SLCC research team Qualifications Required: - Hold a relevant PhD, Master's degree, or equivalent qualifications in health/public health/epidemiology/healthcare or social science - Possess experience in qualitative and quantitative data skills within health research Candidates who are in the process of completing a relevant PhD qualification are also encouraged to apply. Upon completion of the PhD, the title of Research Fellow will be granted. Prior to the award of the qualification, the title of Senior Research Assistant will be assigned. The position will be hybrid and based at the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences, and Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton.
