Research engineer 3 / Senior Research Eng 1

As a Materials Research Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing new products in the field of Insulation materials. You will work closely with process teams, travel frequently within India, and ensure the successful implementation of products in manufacturing plants. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new products based on business needs. - Study existing product designs and develop innovative concepts. - Improve product design to enhance performance and functionality. - Understand product applications and customer needs. - Collaborate with process teams to scale up production processes and optimize efficiency. - Apply expertise in material science to drive improvements and innovations. - Troubleshoot product-related issues and implement effective solutions. - Scale up new products and processes in manufacturing plants. - Utilize statistical methods for process data analysis and performance enhancement. - Ensure global adherence to safety communication and protocols. - Foster collaboration within the R&D and process teams for a productive and innovative environment. - Demonstrate agility in adapting to new challenges and environments. - Travel frequently, including international travel, to various locations based on business requirements. - Spend significant time on-site at manufacturing plants to ensure smooth process implementation and operation. Qualifications: - PhD / ME MTECH in Material Science with a Mechanical background. - 5-8 years of relevant experience in product development. - Strong understanding of product design and development methodology. - Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Willingness to travel frequently and spend time at plant locations. Preferred Skills: - Experience in Insulation materials, especially Mineral Wools. - Familiarity with New Product Development (NPD) methodology. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.,
