Harsha Tadikonda is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at the Indian School of Business (ISB). Roles & Responsibilities:

You will:

• Assistance to the faculty Assisting in their ongoing research work which includes data collection, data management, and analysis.

1. Data collection and cleaning

   Collecting and cleaning data from websites or documents and compilation into usable formats for analysis.

2. Database management

   Linking different datasets, ensuring data quality, and processing raw data into processed datasets for modelling and estimation.

3. Data analysis

   Econometric analysis of cleaned data and causal estimation, including visualization and reporting.

• Time commitment: This role will be for a minimum of one year

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background in any of Economics/Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering with demonstrated analytical and communication skills.

Skills:

• Strong motivation to pursue a career in research in Strategy or Entrepreneurship
• Strong coding proficiency in Python/SQL. Working knowledge of Stata, R.
• Working knowledge of econometrics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of various text mining algorithms and their use cases as well as text pre-processing and normalization techniques.
• Must be proactive with a strong motivation to learn.
