As a Research Associate for Waste Management & Disaster Community Resilience Research at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus located in Kollam, Kerala, your primary role will involve supporting the following projects: - Tsunami Resilience Framework: You will be responsible for assessing the long-term socio-environmental and psychosocial impacts of post-Tsunami rehabilitation in Alappad, Kerala. - Amala Bharatam Campaign (ABC): Your duties will include contributing to field documentation, conducting behavioural research, and participating in impact evaluation related to sanitation, waste management, and community transformation. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Social Work, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Public Health, Disaster Management, or Development Studies. - Demonstrated experience in qualitative data collection, transcription, and NVivo/Atlas.ti coding. - Proficiency in using SPSS, R/Python, or Excel for statistical analysis (correlation, regression, index construction). - Excellent communication and documentation skills in both English and Malayalam.
