In this role as a Research Assistant Intern / Project Assistant Intern, you will be supporting research and project management teams by conducting a variety of tasks aimed at gathering data, analyzing findings, and assisting in the execution of research projects or business initiatives. Familiarity with data collection methods, such as surveys, interviews, or experiments, is a plus. - Data Collection & Analysis: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data. Experience with basic statistical techniques or data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or R) is an advantage. - Literature Review & Documentation: Strong ability to conduct literature reviews, summarize research findings, and create detailed reports or summaries. Experience in sourcing academic articles, research papers, and reports is beneficial. - Project Coordination: Ability to assist with project management tasks, such as scheduling meetings, tracking progress, organizing resources, and maintaining documentation. Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project is a plus. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to assist in preparing research reports, project summaries, or presentations. Capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, project managers, and other team members. Comfortable working in a team environment and contributing to group discussions or meetings. - Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to identify problems or gaps in data and provide solutions. Ability to think critically and contribute to research or project-related decisions. - Adaptability & Willingness to Learn: Open to learning new research techniques, project management tools, and business processes. Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities or research needs. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Research, Project Management, Social Sciences, Business, Economics, or a related field. Relevant coursework or experience in research methodologies, data analysis, or project management is a plus. Experience: Previous internships, research projects, or volunteer work related to research, project coordination, or data collection are beneficial but not required. A genuine interest in research or project management is essential.
