We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Research Assistant with an MTech in Bioinformatics or Computational Chemistry to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 0.5 to 4 years of experience and will play a crucial role in supporting both industrial and academic projects.
As a Research Assistant (In Silico), you will play a crucial role in supporting computational biology and bioinformatics research. You will assist in the analysis of large biological datasets, development of computational models, and interpretation of results.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Visualization:Analyze large-scale biological datasets using bioinformatics tools and programming languages like Python, R, or MATLAB.Utilize statistical methods to identify trends and patterns in data.Create visualizations to communicate findings effectively.Computational Modeling:Develop and implement computational models to simulate biological processes.Utilize molecular dynamics simulations, machine learning, or other relevant techniques.Validate and refine models to ensure accuracy and predictive power.Literature Review:Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to stay updated on the latest research trends.Identify relevant publications and critically evaluate their findings.Laboratory Support:Assist with laboratory experiments as needed, such as sample preparation and data collection.Collaborate with experimental biologists to integrate computational and experimental approaches.
