Research Analyst (Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Utilities)

The role you will be undertaking is a key part of a substantial global fundamental equity investment team that specializes in the oil & gas, chemicals, and utilities sectors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing sector/company-specific newsflow and key events, participating in relevant company calls, investor meetings, and industry conferences, summarizing key takeaways, and deriving actionable insights. You will also be tasked with building, updating, and maintaining databases and financial models to support investment decisions, as well as contributing to the investment process by delivering regular written and verbal reports on industry trends, market events, and individual company developments. Furthermore, collaborating with team members on both regular and ad-hoc research projects will be an essential part of your role. Ideally, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in sell-side/buy-side equity research, industry research, consulting, or other related roles, with a strong grasp of the global oil & gas, chemicals, and utilities sectors. A keen interest in stock markets coupled with exceptional analytical skills is crucial for this position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you will be required to effectively communicate research findings accurately and concisely. Being a team player and having the ability to collaborate efficiently with a diverse global team are also key qualities that will contribute to your success in this role.,
