  Cogniter Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester / QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing QA team. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and ensuring high-quality, bug-free deliverables. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to drive project success.

  Key Responsibilities

  
  

  • Review and analyze project requirement documents for accuracy and completeness

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers to define scope and requirements

  • Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios

  • Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

  • Report, document, and track bugs/issues thoroughly using tracking tools

  • Review and validate reports prepared by junior testers

  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery

  • Follow and enhance QA processes to support continuous improvement

  Required Skills & Qualifications

  
  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 2–5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes

  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports

  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla)

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation (a plus)
