Description
The job mainly involves supporting the multi-valuation variance analysis of regional financial results of a management unit on a multi-valuation basis (Nominal basis, IFRS 17 basis, and Economic valuation basis). By utilizing strong analytical skills, you will aid in explaining the drivers of business performance in the P&C sector. This will entail working closely with P&C Client Markets, Underwriters, Actuaries, Business Management, and Finance teams to comprehend and constructively analyze the key movements. You will conduct multi-valuation variance analysis for Plan vs projections, Quarter to Quarter, YTD movements for EVM - Economic Valuation and USGAAP. It is essential to have a thorough understanding of IFRS 17, including the features of complex contracts and their accounting treatment under IFRS 17. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators, monitoring key drivers in financial results, highlighting trends, and analyzing causes of unexpected variances. Additionally, you will prepare Quarterly & Ad-Hoc presentations on financial result drivers for various senior stakeholders. Stakeholder management is crucial for this role as it involves collaboration with multiple teams. You will be tasked with analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely analysis to various stakeholders, as well as supporting the Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis.
