Reporting Engineer - MSTR

Role Overview: As a Reporting Engineer - MSTR in our organization located in Pune, your primary responsibility will be the development and maintenance of reporting tools, with a focus on MicroStrategy. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with various stakeholders to design a streamlined instance architecture and ensure the delivery of reliable software and data pipelines. You will play a key role in our data engineering and analytics team, contributing to our technological and architectural vision. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain reporting tools, particularly MicroStrategy, with a good-to-have knowledge of Looker. - Provide technical expertise and day-to-day development support. - Assist in designing the overall instance architecture to optimize speed and enhance end-user experience. - Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. - Ensure reliable software and data pipelines using data engineering best practices. - Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and possess excellent business and interpersonal skills. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data reporting and engineering for business intelligence platforms, especially in MicroStrategy. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, physical sciences, or related field. - Proficient in SQL and distributed source control like GIT in an Agile-Scrum environment. Experience with LookML and Python is advantageous. - Experience in BI administration tasks such as cloud setup, instance setup and upgrading, backup creation, and disaster recovery. - Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing methodologies. - Skilled in identifying root-cause issues behind data discrepancies and optimizing SQL queries. - Up-to-date with the latest data trends and adept at simplifying data insights. - Passionate about data and its potential for providing valuable insights. - Experience in retail analytics is a plus.,
