Remedial Teacher

Description:
The Remedial Trainer will work closely with students who face learning difficulties in specific subjects or skill areas. This role involves assessing student needs, delivering individualized or small-group remedial sessions, tracking progress, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and academic teams to ensure continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (preferred)

Certification or training in remedial education or special education is an added advantage

Proven experience as a Remedial Trainer, Tutor, or similar teaching role

Strong understanding of learning difficulties and intervention strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach

Ability to create customized learning plans

Good classroom and time management skills

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

Requirements:

Identify students’ learning gaps through assessments and observation

Design and implement individualized remedial teaching plans

Conduct one-on-one or small-group remedial training sessions

Use varied teaching strategies to address different learning styles

Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress regularly

Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to students

Coordinate with parents, teachers, and academic coordinators regarding student progress

Maintain accurate records, reports, and lesson plans

Support students in improving study skills, confidence, and motivation

Follow institutional guidelines and educational best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹8,390.24 - ₹38,713.40 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
