As a New Model Coordinator for Sourcing and Development, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the progress of sourcing and development activities for new models. You will publish sourcing progress reports, report critical issues to management, and implement countermeasures to ensure new model timelines are met. Additionally, you will represent the Supply Chain Vertical in Development Incharge Meetings, liaise with Supply Chain Departments and related agencies to resolve critical issues, and monitor regulation requirements such as IMDS for new model developments. You will also coordinate smooth New Model Trials, facilitate management reviews to discuss sourcing strategies for critical component categories, and collaborate with Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan for New Model Development related activities. Your role will require you to understand technical and commercial requirements of various component categories, communicate specific requirements effectively with buying departments, Engineering, and QA team, and formalize Project Management strategies. Furthermore, you should possess the ability to analyze the cost performance of the Supply Chain for New Models, demonstrate strong execution orientation, and apply a problem-solving approach. Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Access, Power Point, along with good presentation skills is essential. Being a team player with customer obsession, good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will be key to success in this role.,
