Regional Sales & Marketing Commercial Lead (North East)

You are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Regional Sales & Marketing Commercial Lead in the North East region. As the Manager/Senior Manager in the Commercial unit based in Guwahati, Assam, you will be responsible for various key tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include leading all regional commercial negotiation and procurement activities, particularly for Sales, Marketing, and Technical Services. You will also oversee the procurement of various items such as gift procurement, POP, POSM, White Goods Requirement, and service contracts for HR, I&F, Logistics, and other functions. In this role, you will be expected to devise efficient procurement strategies that fall within the allocated budget while actively seeking opportunities for cost optimization. Building long-term relationships with vendors is crucial to ensure cost optimization through standardized rate contracts, benchmarking, and timely delivery of CAPEX and MRO items. Vendor development will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, which includes providing feedback and regular evaluation of vendor performance, as well as introducing new vendors as needed. You will also be required to coordinate with both External and Internal Auditors to facilitate smooth audits and timely resolution of any issues or observations that may arise. Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and all applicable statutory compliances is essential. You will play a vital role in synchronizing all end-to-end operations with SAP, conducting stage-wise checks at all levels to maintain operational efficiency. Maintaining a high level of association with all user departments and vendors to ensure smooth operations will be crucial in this role. Additionally, overseeing the closure of Supply/Service RFP through Ariba followed by Auction, as well as finalizing ARC for BTL Services and ensuring the closure of Events as per the Statement of Work (SOW) shared by the User will be part of your responsibilities.,
