Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Performance

  • Lead and supervise a team of 4 to 5 Business Managers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Drive and maintain desired PCPM levels across the team to ensure consistent performance.
  • Plan and execute stockist-wise primary and secondary sales strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.

Market Execution

  • Implement company promotional strategies effectively to maximize prescription generation and brand visibility.
  • Ensure efficient distribution through robust stockist management, ensuring adequate inventory, payment discipline, and order flow.
  • Keep track of competitor activities and market trends to provide timely feedback and insights.
  • Conduct OPD campaigns and other field activities as per marketing plan.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance productivity and field effectiveness.
  • Conduct field joint working with Business Managers to ensure strategy execution and customer engagement.
  • Manage vacant territories effectively and ensure business continuity.
  • Oversee induction and onboarding of new team members to ensure smooth integration and early productivity.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key doctors (KOLs), chemists, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding doctor coverage, call averages, and compliance standards.
  • Strengthen partnerships with stockists and retailers to ensure superior market coverage and service levels.

Internal:

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate in

    Pharmacy, Science, or Commerce

    (B.Pharm, B.Sc or B.Com)
  • MBA in Marketing

    preferred

Experience

  • 12 years

    of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least

    2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role

    .
  • Experience in

    leading business teams

    and managing key customer relationships in respective therapy areas.
