Position: Assistant Manager HR Reporting: HR Head (Commercial Org) Profile: HRBP for the Sales / Commercial function. Travel: Yes in the respective territory Candidates who are regular MBA with an ideal work experience range of 2 to 5 Years, with 30 Days of notice period are good match. Candidate must have HR business partnering experience into Sales / Commercial function of an organization. We have 2 Positions. The South HRBP position is based in Bangalore , and the East HRBP is based in Kolkata . Both roles require extensive travel (1012 days a month) , given their strong business-facing nature. The core objective of these mandates is Business Partnering with the Commercial teams , which have highly dynamic, business-driven functions within the organization. Key expectations from the role include: Retention focusses and deployment of the right set of HR interventions , driven by a deep employee connect and a problem-solving mindset. As the business is consumer-facing and fast-moving , particularly from an inventory and supply chain perspective , the pace and dynamics are intense. It is critical that the HRBP maintains a strong HR foundation while also adapting to the rapidly evolving business landscape . Business alignment and agility , while staying rooted in core HR practices, are non-negotiable aspects of the mandate. These roles demand high ownership, business acumen, and the ability to anticipate and address people’s challenges in sync with commercial priorities. Job Profile To establish & institutionalize robust alignment to HR processes & delivery mechanism spanning various aspects of HR operations, talent acquisition, performance management, capability and culture building in line with the operating plan to achieve long-term vision. Business partnering for the commercial organization of direct and indirect employees, interfacing the smooth execution of all the HR line and staff functions. Responsible for anchoring all people processes for the retail organization as manpower planning, talent acquisition, induction & onboarding, employee engagement, R&R, relation, goal setting, succession planning, performance management & capability development etc. Design for a constructive slack against the identified crucial positions. Plan, suggest and create differentiated careers for HiPos in the region basis their Career Aspirations and career philosophy. Manage Performance Reviews, Annual Performance Normalization, closure of merit based increments, salary benchmarking and rationalization, Annual Promotions & Rating Communication for the Region. Desired Candidate Profile: An MBA/ PGDM or equivalent post graduate degree preferably in Human Resource Management. Prior experience of working as HRBP with commercial / sales / retail organization. Strong business and HR acumen, including thorough understanding of HR concepts and evolving HR practices. Strong bias for action, problem solving and ownership. Ability to constantly challenge the status quo and design innovative solutions to unique people challenges and changing business needs. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and partner across different levels of the organization to achieve results. Ability to develop relationships, and use consultative, influencing, and collaborative approach across levels.
