Job Description

As a Linux Administrator with expertise in Dev Ops and Ansible, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Server Installation and maintenance, server upgradation, and patches of all hardware, operating system, and operational utilities on RedHat Linux systems. - Monitors, schedules, and implements server storage expansions as required for client needs. - Provides research, communicates, and implements "Best Practices" for server tuning. - Knowledge of Linux LVM (Logical Volume Management). - Knowledge of RedHat Satellite Server (Build, Kickstart, Deploy). - Knowledge of CIFS and NFS. - Knowledge of Storage Area Networks and SAN. - Knowledge of RedHat Linux Networking and Bonding. - Ability to work with global resources to implement servers and resolve issues. - Participates in on-call rotation. - Customer interaction and communication skills. - Adheres to documented, approved standards. - Plans and coordinates infrastructure requests to accommodate server requests. - Coordinates and plans with other support groups and vendors to provide emergency and scheduled maintenance in an effective timeframe. - Responsible for coordinating requested changes and minimizing the business impact of those changes. - Understand and follow operational processes and policies. You should have complete knowledge in Linux administration with secondary skills in Dev Ops / Ansible, and experience with RedHat Linux upgradation or migration. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with global resources, interact with customers, and contribute to the implementation of "Best Practices" for server tuning.
