Participate in the deploying existing containerized applications from AKS to OpenShift in a disconnected setup(No Internet access).
Set up and manage OpenShift clusters in Disconnected/air-gapped environments, including
mirror registries and Image management
disconnected installation, and cluster upgrades
Operator and Helm chart management
Manage Helm-based deployments and adapt existing Helm charts for OpenShift compatibility.
Knowledge in using ODF - OpenShift Data Foundation.
Replace Azure managed services with self-managed equivalents:
PostgreSQL (e.g., CloudNativePG)
Azure Service Bus (e.g., RabbitMQ)
Azure Redis (e.g., Redis OSS)
Azure Storage (e.g., Ceph, ODF)
Knowledge in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in a disconnected environment.
Ensure security, compliance, and observability in the disconnected OpenShift environment.
Collaborate with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, including disconnected/air-gapped environments.
Experience with the DevOps practices.
Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
Experience with Kubectl, OC cli
Experience with container registries (e.g., Quay, Harbor) and image mirroring.
Familiarity with OpenShift Operators, RBAC, and network policies.
Basic Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash or similar)
Experience deploying and managing self-hosted services (PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
Familiarity with
OpenShift Operators
Cluster Monitoring
Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana
Certification in OpenShift Administration(Not Mandatory)
Exposure to OpenShift Virtualization
Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services
