Description
As a Red Hat Automation & Platform Architect, your role involves designing, developing, and leading enterprise-level automation and deployment solutions using the Red Hat technology stack. You will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, OpenShift, RHEL, and middleware components. Your responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing automation architectures using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including playbook development, orchestration, and integration with ITSM and CI/CD tools. - Architecting and deploying Red Hat OpenShift, RHEL, and middleware components across hybrid or multi-cloud environments. - Leading development teams in automation-based solution design, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of Red Hat platforms. - Collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and ensure architectural integrity and compliance. - Implementing DevOps practices such as pipeline automation, configuration management, and containerized deployments using Kubernetes. - Supporting managed services on Red Hat environments including performance monitoring, patching, compliance, and optimization. - Driving operational excellence through automation, documentation, and process standardization. - Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to engineering teams across development, operations, and support functions. - Evaluating and recommending Red Hat ecosystem tools and technologies to improve automation maturity and platform stability. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong hands-on experience in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, OpenShift, and RHEL. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git-based workflows. - Exposure to middleware components such as AMQ, Fuse, and API management. - Understanding of infrastructure-as-code, cloud integration (AWS/Azure), and hybrid environments. - Experience with monitoring, patching, and operational automation for managed Red Hat platforms. - Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 1218 years of experience in IT infrastructure, automation, or platform engineering roles, with at least 5 years in an architect or lead capacity. - Red Hat certifications preferred (RHCA, RHCE, or Ansible/ OpenShift Delivery Specialist). Preferred Attributes: - Proven experience in designing and deploying enterprise-grade Red Hat solutions. - Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage customer interactions in hybrid environments. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and automation-driven mindset. - Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on Red Hat and open-source technologies.,
