As a Sales engineer, you will be coordinating with proposal engineers for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for Company's Automation' products and services. Also ensuring alignment with company policies, objectives, and legal requirements. You will be owning the customer relationships and the sales targets for your assigned territory and market segment. You will be working closely with the technical, project, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and other performance metrics to track progress towards sales targets and inform strategic decision-making. Foster a culture of customer-centricity within the sales team and building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. Coordinate to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials that effectively showcase Company's solutions and value proposition to potential clients. Represent Companyat industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company's professional network. As a Proposal engineer, you will be coordinating with Sales engineers for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for Companys products and services. Also ensuring alignment with company policies, objectives, and legal requirements. Maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive enquiry register for all incoming inquiries Prepare solution architecture and seek approval from the Subject Matter Expert (SME). Collaborate with the Electrical/Mechanical Design team to select appropriate products and obtain SME approval. Evaluate competitive supplier quotes in line with customer requirements to ensure the best options are considered. Prepare and submit a bill of material as per company standards for approval by the Proposal Head/Sales Head. Develop business requirement documents following the standard format and submit them for approval by the Proposal Head/Sales Head. Once the offer is approved by the Proposal Head/Sales Head, submit it to the customer and update both the enquiry register and online sales funnel. Upon receiving customer orders, ensure smooth handover of purchase orders and relevant documents to the Project Head for proper transfer and initiation of the project. Update sales order conversion details in SAP and the Online Sales Funnel as part of the ongoing sales tracking process. You will be responsible for attending the trainings / mentoring classes by the superiors; customer requirement understanding supporting sales team to achieve their sales target; documentation, interacting with the SME & Proposal Head on the business needs; What skills and experience youll bring to us Qualifications we are looking for Must be an Engineering Graduate or Diploma in EEE, ECE and E&I You have at least 2-5 years of Proposal experience in the automation industry Preferably with above average performance in the above qualifications Must have good oral and written communication skills in English Knowledge & Skills, we are expecting Hands on experience in using Desk Top tools, such as MS PPT, MS Excel, MS Word, Auto CAD/Solid works preferred. Should have skills in reading and understanding the plant layout / P&ID and Technical Document. Should have strong convincing skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication and organization skills. Should have the skill in understanding the customer manufacturing process. He/she should possess the skill in articulating the functional result / benefit of the proposed solutions, keeping the technology in mind. Should have desire and aspiration in learning new/updating process application
