What would you do
You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.The Record to Report team helps clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements. The areas where this team s expertise lies is in Preparing and posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits, perform variance analysis and provide comments for month over month movement in Trial Balance, perform reporting activities, perform intercompany related activities, FA and Lease related activities.The Account Reconciliation team focuses on general ledger accounting which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts. The role requires a good understanding of P&L accounts, bookkeeping, journal entries, voucher entry, trial balance, and month-end reporting. The role may also need expertise around intercompany reconciliations, cut-off policies, transfer pricing policies, formal confirmation policy & procedure, dispute resolution policy & procedure, and general procedure.Prepare, record, and reconcile intercompany invoices, journal entries, and settlements.Investigate and resolve discrepancies between entities in a timely manner.Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities related to intercompany accounts i.e. reconciliation between AP & AR, End of period accrualSupport consolidation processes by ensuring accurate elimination of intercompanyRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency In this role, you need to analyze and solve moderately complex problemsAssist in preparing intercompany ageing reports and variance analyses.Your primary upward interactions are with your direct supervisorYou may interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within AccentureYou will be provided with guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignmentsThe decisions that are made by you will often impact your teamYou would be an individual contributor / or a team
