Receptionist

Job Title: Receptionist – Immigration Law Firm

Location: Chandigarh, India

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 1–3 years preferred (Freshers with strong communication skills may apply)

Job Description:

We are seeking a polished, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our busy and growing Immigration Law Firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for clients, managing all front-desk activities, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally.

2. Handle incoming calls, route them to appropriate staff, and take clear, detailed messages.

3.Maintain the reception area to ensure a clean, organized, and client-friendly atmosphere.

4. Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in inquiries with tact and efficiency.

5. Keep accurate records of all client entries and calls.

6. Assist in handling basic documentation and coordination tasks under guidance.

7. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.

8. Coordinate with legal staff to ensure seamless office flow.

Requirements:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English , Hindi and Punjabi.

2. Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset.

3. Professional appearance and demeanor.

4. Ability to multitask and handle pressure calmly.

5. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email handling, digital scheduling tools).

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Prior experience in a law firm or service-oriented front-desk role.

2. Familiarity with immigration or legal processes (a bonus but not mandatory).

3. Graduate in any stream .

Salary: 20,000 to 40,000 (based on experience)

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Timings: 9 am - 7 pm
