Job Summary:

We are a highly skilled team handling U.S. projects, and now we are expanding into local-approval work.

The Rebar CAD Designer is responsible for preparing detailed rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for U.S.-based construction projects. The role requires a strong understanding of structural drawings, nyc codes and standards (ACI, ASTM, CRSI), and proficiency in CAD tools to ensure accurate, high-quality reinforcement detailing for fabrication and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop rebar placing drawings, shop drawings, and BBS based on structural and architectural drawings.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. standards such as ACI 318, ASTM A615, and CRSI Manual of Standard Practice.
• Model and detail rebar layouts using AutoCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC, Tekla, or Revit Structure.
• Participate in internal QA/QC reviews and design coordination meetings.
• Check rebar drawings for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Ensure correct bar shapes, sizes, lap lengths, and anchorage details.
• Maintain drawing and bar mark consistency across all revisions.
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables as per project schedule.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD / Rebar CAD / CADS RC / Tekla Structures / Revit Structure
• MS Excel for BBS preparation
• Navisworks / BIM 360 (optional, added advantage)
• Familiarity with ACI, ASTM, and CRSI standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in rebar detailing for U.S. or international projects.
• Strong understanding of structural drawings and reinforcement detailing principles.
